| The Parco Scientifico e
Tecnologico di Salerno e delle Aree Interne della Campania (PST)
is an organization created to bridge the gap between research
and business. It is strategically located in close proximity
to two universities and several advanced research centres and
acts as a liason between them. |
| Its solid relationship with
the Universities of Salerno and Benevento and excellent rapport
with the regional government of Campania, its provinces and
municipalities combined with expertise in bringing research
and innovation together and enhancing human resources, have
made PST an ideal point of reference for companies interested
in technological innovation. |
| PST is a co-operative joint-stock
company funded by both private and public sector capital. There
are 100 private company partners including the University of
Salerno and the University of Sannio and several major public
corporations, including the Campania Regional Authority, the
Provincial Administrations of Salerno, Avellino and Benevento,
the Municipalities of Salerno and Ariano Irpino, the Chamber
of Commerce of Salerno and Benevento the local Tourism Authority
of Salerno and several consortia of communes in mountain areas. |
